Artists Comments: Inspired by watching re-runs of Bob the Painter, I went to Home Depot and purchased some large brushes. I am continually amazed at how Bob uses these giant brushes to magically blend dabs of color onto his canvas and create a masterpiece in what seems to be a blink of the eye. This technique was not so magical for me but, based on feedback from my painting group, I realized the difference between painting rocks that sit beneath the water and rocks that sit on top of the water. I think I'll have better luck next time I paint shoreline ponds.
